Default transmission issues (i think)

well i have a odd problem, whenever i come to a stop or go over something like a speed bump, or give a little gas then left off or press the brake, the transmission shifts into what i think is neutral, could this be the TPS? a friend says the TPS doesnt control that on a 91. but he drives a chevy so eff him. what do you guys think it is? ps. i tried searching, couldnt find exact problem i have. it shifts through all the gears after it pops back into gear by itself and doesnt happen whenever im offroading. just on the street.

it is most likely a problem in your transmisson not your tps
