Both O'Reilly's and Advance Auto Parts carry "Anchor" mounts.....
Part Number 2625. Also AutoZone has the "Duralast" Mount. Part Number 2625... If you can't get help from anyone there..... Drop me a message,, I work for Advance Auto Parts and if nothing more, can get you a discount on it and ship it to you.......

Trans mount bolts
Does anyone know what size (diam. & thread pitch) the two bolt that secure the mount to the trans are, I found the clunk noise when shifting into rev. both bolts are M.I.A. I believe they are metric since it's an AW4 trans but not sure
Thanks
Thanks

I was actually looking for the bolts that attach the mount to the transmission case itself
but the existing holes in the aluminum case look like about 10mm (rough guess)
Thanks

trans mount bolts
If anyone besides me is interested, the bolts are 12 x 1.75 for the AW4 trans. about 1 1/2 in. long fits nice and use a little locktite so they don't fall out again LOL

They don't list one for 2001 either, but we all know 00 & 01 Jeeps have crossmembers and tranny mounts and didn't only come with Manual Trannys either....... they didnt change anything in these final years, most parts store monkeys will just read off what the computer tells them is available etc, and thats the final answer followed by "sorry we can't help you with it"... Wanna have some fun..... Ask them to find a water pump for an 83 corvette...... LMAO!!!! thats another story, but funny as hell.......
get the 2625 tranny mount and fix your jeep, it should be the exact mount you are searching for....
If not, you can laugh at me....
Good Luck.
Bryan.

Part # 2625 definitly isnt the right one for my 2000...autozone is telling me its 3188 which is $109????....the one I took off doesnt have the 4 crossmember bolts offset to one side. Could have had my LA upgrade finished tonight if I didnt buy this wrong part number.......

Transmission Mount woes
Sorry to hijack the thread. I have an 89, XJ, manual, that came with a 4 cylinder originally but now has an inline 6. There was a loud thumping when I put it into first and popped the clutch too quickly and was told it was the tranny mount. I removed the crossmember (breaking a bolt in the process) and bought Part #2625 from Advanced Auto.
My issue is that I cannot see how the new mount will attach to the transmission because it has 2 holes on the side that attaches and the transmission has 4 bolt holes.
Any ideas?

Best thing to do is take the old one in and show them and look at the pictures they have on the computer. Thats what i ended up having to do at napa. They ordered in 3 different ones till i got the right one. Ended up asking then to punch in for a 4 cyl and it was the right one. I needed the 2 hole to mount to tranny and the 4 stud bolts that go to crossmember to be centered. One of the wrong ones that came in was a 4 hole one, which iirc was what napa had in the computer as a 2001. Hope this helps...

Also, for the people that may land here looking at how to replace the transmission mount, it's strongly recommended that you use only the factory mount since the others collapse fairly quickly.
