Well if it is do they lie flat to begin with?
They get curved a little at the ends so not matter what you use it might stay attached at the ends long.
The curved they developed just won't let it stay on the jeep.
You can just pull them off.
Lots of guys do.
Jeep looks good either way.
But if you want to keep the taking them off, cleaning everything up, using double sided tape on the molding, and reapplying them is best.
I suggest the 3M VHB 5952.
Not cheap but super strong.
Going to need some in 1/2" and 1/4" widths IIRC.
