trouble geting door lock out

My door lock is all busted up inside and I,m trying to get it out,non electric,I got the c clip out but I can,t get the rod off and even if I do I don,t how I,m going to get it all back together,any tips please

It is held on by a clip,plastic that slides over the metal rod. Just use a screwdriver and pry it off,goes back together easy
