Lately the heep has having trouble starting. It seems to have a slight delay most times but today I got in and cranked it and wouldn't start. The battery was a little under 14 but when I turned the key, it cranked once and stopped. I unplugged everything and unhooked my amp from the battery and it finally started after several attempts. I started driving and my airbag light came on for a short moment, then disappeared. Went to autozone but they said my battery was good. What's the deal?

 

So when it wont start, does it crank and no start, or no crank no start.

 

it'll crank slowly once and not start. I can turn the ignition on and the battery level goes back up to a little under 14. Autozone guy said maybe it's the alternator not charging the battery, but I'm wondering if its a starter issue
