Default Trying to replace this screw / fastener clip

96 XJ. One of my top 2 e-fan support screws is missing from where it mounts on that top cross support. There's a small black C shaped piece of metal that's stamped to accept the screw. C piece goes onto the edge of the cross support and then the screw goes through the hole.

Anyone know how I can identify this part number where I can order it, of what this piece is called so I can just look for a universal one? I know I could just shove a screw through it but I'd rather get the right piece.

Thinking you are talking about the clip nut.
Pretty sure the part number is 34202462 but you mostly likely will not find any to buy.
Any one will do.
These might:

Gotta a Napa near you?
If your store is anything like mine there is a big loose leaf binder with all sorts of stuff like this in it.
Not pictures but the actual pieces.
Makes it very easy to match up stuff.
You make sound like you still have some of them.
So I would go there.
You might have to use a different screw but the package of whatever you buy will tell you what size you need.

Harbor freight sells a clip nut assortment box for sheet metal screws for 5 or 6 bucks or send me your address and I will send you a couple of real clip nuts for machine thread screws

Thanks for the advice. Lucky I found some at the Oreilly's just across the street. Doorman makes a lot of different makes and sizes. These are the good kind that I think are called turret style. No nut built into the clip but it has an extended part that catches I'd say 4 thread turns or so. Looks fairly sturdy.
