Tune up items..
Just want to see what some of your personal preferences are..
CAP
ROTOR
WIRES
PLUGS
IGN. COIL
MISC/ANYTHING ELSE.
I know that is not everything for a tune up, but figured I would see what basics others use. VatoZone has an Accel(brand) "tune up kit" on sale. plugs, wires, cap, rotor, etc. THat I am thining about picking up.

Well, I haven't hunted around for a long time for ignition parts for these things, but I found that Accel makes one, and it was a C&R combo, so I bought them. Hell, if MSD made them and I could readily get my hands on them, I'd be on them too. Never had a problem with them on any car I had.
As for the wires, I just buy an universal set off the shelf, and most of my parts stores have tons of Accel sets right there for the pickin'.

If I got the money, I'll throw an MSD box on anything. I got a MSD-6T on two of my cars now, and I still have an extra that I'm debating on either putting on the '92 or '98.

A little, but I definately got more of a crisper, snappier throttle. More so when you do from total stock, to MSD box and perf. tune-up parts.
If ya wanna know one thing about me, I will put go-fast parts on damn near everything given the chance.

Primary thing on the Cap is Brass terminals same with the rotor. Beyond that I don't think there is much difference between brands. Plugs Champion Truck Plugs, Wires good solid 8 mm or bigger wires, ignition coil em I just got one from napa, but MSD makes a direct bolt on.

Anyone familiar with these? http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
Taylor ThunderVolt 8.2 Spark Plug Wires is what they are, I noticed in comparison to the "standard" Taylor wires they have a different conductor and are .2mm larger. The price different is only a few dollars.
