Turn Signal question

Turn Signal question
So, the issue is that my turn signals no longer automatically turn off after I make a turn. I have just trained myself to switch them off manually but occasionally I forget and drive down the road with the blinker flashing. Also noticed that my hazards no longer work (not sure if they're related or if that's a separate issue). In the opinion of the all-wise forum, what is the problem and what part should be replaced/repaired? 1998 Cherokee classic, 4WD, 4.0L. Thanks in advance.

There can be 2 possible problems for them not turning off. The first is the plastic limiter in the column has snapped. The second is there is a spring in the column that some times comes off. As for the emergency flashers not working I am really not to sure if it is related or not?
