Turn signals stopped working??
Just started happening out of the blue. The hazards work fine but when I hit the blinker it just stays solid. All bulbs are fine. I am guessing a flasher but wouldnt that cause hazards to stop as well? Thanks

Disregard this comment about a clock spring, I did not read your original post right. It does sound like a bad flasher

Not sure about an XJ in particular but on most vehicle the hazards use a different flasher from the turn signals, so a bad flasher is still a possibility.

I am currently having the exact same problem with my 92 xj. My left blinkers work and my flashers work. But my right blinker stays solid. Ive been told to check the relay located just under the steering column and to the left. You should be able to hear it when the turn signal is on. Im am going to be checking mine.

@Cherokeeper- check your grounds. If your right blinker is flashing, and your left just stays solid, it is clearly something independant of that light, after the flasher. Does your front and rear stay solid? Or just one? I think if the ground is messed up on one, where it won't blink, it may make the other stay solid, as they work together (except for when one is burnt out...)
