turns over but wont fire up

if you continue to spray starting fluid in throttle body will it run?

put the new rotor and cap and tried to start now the alarm went off. cant get it to shut off. locked all doors, lifted tail gate, opened passenger door nothing. disconnected the battery for like 2 hours and reconnected lights keep flashing now and battery is draining.

maybe if it fires up again it will but i havent been able to get it too fire up

Any codes? I'm having a similar issue bought my 96 with 105 k it was sitting for a little while drove fine for a month then one day just.died in traffic at a red light I have fuel pressure but no power to the coil at all... Checked for codes and no check engine no codes at all...

Try a new cps again
U could have burnt the one u just put on on the exhaust if u didn't take the time to tie it back with a few zip ties I know I did that with mine before

well now my battery is starting to die so i have to take out and charge it. I dont know how to get the codes.

could it be that after i have done all these that it could be my timing chain needs replaced?

Well if your timing chain hasnt been messed with and isnt damaged y would that be a no start culprit

a timing chain going bad on a 4.0 odds are about the same as winning the lottery

it will not start until alarm issue is fixed

well how do i solve the security system issue. well now i have replced the distibutor, cap, rotor, ignition coil, plugs, wires, crankshaft position sensor, fuel pump, and filter, still getting any fire from the ignition coil.
