Two part question (OPG/Tie Rod)
Trying to replace my oil pan gasket on my 99 xj. got all the bolts/studs out except two in very back by inspection plate. How the heck do you get those two out??? They are partcially hidden by what seems to be the oil pan itself. The bolt head is partially covered thus a socket cannot fit over.
Also, Jack slipped and slightly bent the tie rod running to the driver side tire. Enough that the steering damper rubs against it thus making turning the steering wheel difficult. Can I just replace this rod or does it only come as one piece (center link/tie rod)?
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.
Got the two bolts in back. They were covered by a rubber piece that Ended up breaking to allow room. Of course now struggling to get oil pan out. Jeep is stock. Looks like I may have to disconnect transmission lines for extra room.
Lol. Thinking now I shud have just lived with oil leak.
