U joint replacement help before i hit the trail.

It's tire wobble on turns not vibration. I noticed it clicking about a week ago I jacked it up then and heard clicking from the u joint. It stopped clicking this week but now on turns the tire wobbles..... I saw a vid on YouTube of the same thing the guy said replacing his axle u joint fixed it. I am gonna start in about 30 minutes so ill update periodically

Gottchya' yea, as it binds and un-binds its a "wobble" feeling. I did mine without a 12 point 1/2 inch drive socket. No fun that. I used a 3/8 long extension in the forward hole to pop my hub free. If I had had an assistant to turn the wheel I might have been able to position it so as not to bend it a bit.

Alright so I'm done for the night...... Got it all apart, broke a breaker bar and a wrench so far. Then I found out I got the wrong u joint size. I guess my Cherokee has the bigger u joint caps? Now she sits until Friday (payday). It was definitely the joint though. One side had no pins at all...... Any way thanks for all the help!
