Incoming terrified post...

Spent most of this winter transporting folks to work... put off shoveling out my mom's steep driveway until today.

I did most of it... then decided my Cherokee's 4wd could get me back to the top.

It did but not after a lot of spinning wheels, a lot of shaking and a lot of groaning.

I can smell antifreeze. Scared now.

I've been watching the temp gauge more than the road it seems and it hasn't gone past 210.

i don't smell it anymore.

i'm very sensitive to that smell because i've been dealing with a lot of antifreeze issues lately (had my heater core replaced last week due to the antifreeze smell coming from vents... that's no longer an issue).

I checked the hose to the overfill bottle and that was fine.

Seems ok now?

paranoia is getting the best of you. ask someone else to rate the smell or just ask if they smell anything and don't put the antifreeze thought in their head.
