Default unconnected wire under battery tray

hello. I've been trouble shooting an issue where my coil pack has no power and after following wires looking for issues I came to a connector not plugged into anything seated under the battery and I can't find the other connector It goes to anywhere.

looking at the second picture. you can see the location where I found the clip. it was zip tied to the other connector in the picture near the end of the clip giving holding it in place so I know the clip doesn't go somewhere else(whatever it connects to must come to this spot) but the missing side is nowhere to be found.

what is this wire?

thanks.

That looks like the connector for the cruise control to me too.
Goes to the actuator.
Thinking '97 and up?
Adding cruise control to one of those years is literally plug and play if you source all the right parts.
Probably the first thing I added to my '00.
LOL.

That, and it's literally the only thing on that side of the vehicle besides the battery temperature sensor which is 2 wires, and plugged in on the wall in the 2nd picture, lol
