Once again, thanks for putten me on to it, I use it every time I go down my hill. I guess I wouldn't be an a hurry to do it unless I had a real, regular need for it though. I do a pretty serious hill where people have died, sometimes daily. For most people it would just be one more distraction, when a second might count. Guess I'm still on the fence with the converter lockup. Maybe I should just try it and see if it helps. One more switch though.....3 positions on one, two on that, and three on the shifter. 18 options... It did occur to me a brake over-ride/cut-off with a SPDT relay would be pretty simple. (Ok, might not need the "DT", but they're handy.)
