I'll look at the metallic pads. I don't mind spending some extra loot for increased safety. Safety is a bad area to try to economize.....

You can run regular pads and it'll still stop fine but to get the most performance from your brakes Metallics the way to go... and if you plan on keeping a Cherokee for a long time then its money well invested... glad to help and best of luck!
