Default Upper rear shock bolt

Hey, so I know it is a common problem and most people use an air hammer to knock these out or they plan out a weekend with a BFH and a chisel. I was wondering if you could just drill them out?

I did, then tapped them back to M8. Any bolt I've had to drill on my Jeep has chewed through drill bits though.

I also drilled them out, and then installed the Rough Country bracket to make future changes easier.

Sounds good. I'm just going to drill them and then install a bigger bolt from the back then.

The easy option would be to get one of these kits:
Amazon Amazon
Once drilled out you can just pop it up and bolt into it. If you opt for larger bolts then you'll have to also enlarge the slots on the shocks to take the larger bolts.

That is the kit I used, very easy to install. Definitely recommend going this route.
