Go the whole 9 yards and drop a HEMI in there. It can be adapted as the guys on Xtreme 4x4 did with that TJ.

buddy of mine is currently building his xj for the 3rd time. But he first bulled the 4.0 and swapped in a 350. That is now gone and a 396 big block sits in its place. anything is possible with enough fab work

Man your giving me many tempting ideas. I'm pretty familiar with the "bolt on" area of ls1's and now have ideas of ditching the stroker when my 4.0 goes and putting in a 600+hp LS1..... I bet the unibody would look something like that double helix shape thing like they use to describe DNA... Oh the possibilities.... Go all out and drop in either a fully built 632,(chevy) or a fully built 540 HEMI
