Hey Ol"Blue, that Vette engine is a direct bolt up right? Yeah I wish.

Do you have a write up on that install? How long did it take you ?

Now you should know I wouldn't put a Bow-Tie in a Mopar, right? I found that pic in this thread. Super charger? - Page 3 - Jeep Cherokee Forum
No offense cause it looks great and almost factory.

Go the whole 9 yards and drop a HEMI in there. It can be adapted as the guys on Xtreme 4x4 did with that TJ.

Anything is possible. Here's a BB Mopar in an XJ. As you can see, it takes a lot of fab. work.

buddy of mine is currently building his xj for the 3rd time. But he first bulled the 4.0 and swapped in a 350. That is now gone and a 396 big block sits in its place. anything is possible with enough fab work

The 5.9 is just the Mopar fuel injected version of the 360, so now you're back to where the OP started.

The OP referred to the AMC 360 which has nothing whatsoever in common with the Mopar small-block.

Go all out and drop in either a fully built 632,(chevy) or a fully built 540 HEMI
