vacuum leak?
I recently replaced head gasket on 1999 jeep Cherokee classic 4.0L when I put it back together it was racing at full throttle. head set came with thin metal manifold gasket so I took manifolds back off and replaced
with Felpro gasket I used a thin coat of sealer on both sides and tightened bolts in recommended sequence.This time when I started it ,it was running @ about 3500rpm so I replaced idle sensor
This made no difference. Car was idling fine before head change. Any suggestions would be appreciated
