Vapor canister bracket is Nothing but vapor
Looking for help sourcing a vapor canister bracket for my 2000 xj. Have searched a bit (more than any other part ever, and this is my fifth jeep). I saw an earier post but the part number according to Mopar doesn't match. Given that this part is in a location with probably the least survivability anywhere on the vehicle, I'm really hoping someone can help me out. Can't be the only one with this issue. Just picked this xj up and getting ready to bring it back from a life of mistreatment. Never been off the road, garaged in a pine forest and never washed in the winter (northern NJ). it is in remarkably good condition rust wise with the exception of any bits attatched to its belly. Bolts come out But all that is attatched is gone. Havent gotten to far into it yet but when parts are sourced it will be ready to start. Any help would be most appreciated.

Parts catalog is at http://cruiser54.com/?page_id=365
Page 366 shows the bracket is p/n 53013040AC for both 2.5 and 4.0 engines.

What lawsoncl said.
Not really buying that their inventory is correct but...

This most likely will be a boneyard, Craigslist part out, or used Jeep parts seller thing.
Might want to contact somebody like this:
https://deadjeep.com/
'97 to '99 show a different part number so you would think it would not work but I have to wonder about that so...
'00 and '01 share the same part number though.

is there a "For sale and Wanted" on this forum ?
I have dismantled a few older vehicles, and and people are very happy to deal with a seller that can supply the part they want, no matter how small
As a seller, one (should be) happy to get $ for a part that may not otherwise sell ( I'm not always happy when buyers want to lowball me on parts that take hours to remove)
I dont sell Jeep parts, but have many spares to keep me going.
Some RHD parts are NLA, and obtaining at least one useable spare is essential if you want to keep the vehicle long-term
