Veg Oil
Hi guys with fuel currently running at nearly $8 Dollars per uk gallon over here (diesel) I'm wanting to run my Jeep on veg oil it's a '95 vm 2.5 engine can it be done without conversion ?

no, you can't just dump veg oil in your tank.
you will need a conversion (dual fuel) set-up with a pre-heater for the veg oil. the kit should also come with added filters.
the kit isn't very expensive and can be installed in a busy weekend. it's a little tricky to plumb in the lines and install the veg tank/pre-heater, but well worth it in the end.
then you would need a good source for good clean veg oil.
best oil comes from a sushi restaurant, even tho i don't know what they would fry...?
my buddy gets his from a sushi rest. and it's so clean, he doesn't really have to run it through his centrifuge.
he's running pure veg oil, not bio-fuel.
that's as far as i know about it, i've driven his truck on veg oil during the winter and even tho it loses a bit of power (ok, lots of power), the pay-off is well worth it.
