Vibration..could it be the tires?
I have replaced just about every steering component the tie rod the track bar, new tie rod ends, I even went and got new upper and lower ball joints...
I have replaced the bearings in the transfer case checked the balance of the driveshaft
I am just about clueless as to what the problem is at this point
everything was just aligned and balanced at a 4 wheel parts store
Still I get this horrible vibration all over the whole body its almost worse now at 70-75 cause everything feels stiffer and tighter (better nicer up until 55) but when it starts to vibrate the stiffness does not help if you know what i mean
Right now I am running on YOKOHAMA GEOLANDER AT-S tires
I had 4 new tires but one of them burst on a long road trip...so I had 3 tires with over 2 thousand miles and one new tire. plus since i got the tires, (when all of those steering compenents were bad that i didnt know about) they have always looked to be wearing funny even immediately after the "balance"
they are all feathered on the edges both edges
could it, after 1,400 bucks, really just be just bad tires?
I really just want my jeep to roll smooth

have you had an alignment done recently? it is possible that your wheels are out of balance or not balanced properly. do you have a picture of the tires to show the feathering you're describing?
PS: thanks for being so descriptive, makes it easier to do what I can to help you out

I believe I know you answer... My dads Jeep 95 Cherokee Sport, does this. Jumpy and shaky starting at 70 mph and above. The problem of my dads is he is needing to replace his stock shocks. His shocks are warping and maybe yours are too. Hopefully this will fix your problem, please keep me updated.

If there's any question I would take those rims and tires in for a balance. I recently paid $35 at Discount to have four used rims and tires balanced and it completely cured the problem (hopping right around 65 mph) even though one of those tires was cupped pretty bad. The tires were not purchased at Discount Tire and came on the Jeep when we bought it. Apparently they don't care if they sold em or not and will still do the balance. I was kind of surprised that they didn't try to sell me a set of tires especially when I saw the cupping on the one.
I believe their price is normally around $45 to balance, but we had just spent a ton of dough on rims and tires for two other vehicles and I think they gave us a deal. Definitely money well spent even if it's $45.
I have a buddy that bought a new set of tires for his full size Chevy (not Discount Tire). He took the truck back to them four times for balancing and the shop finally gave up and replaced one of the tires that simply would not balance. Apparently it was just a messed up tire.
It happens.

I found the problem!
Hey thanks a lot for your help...
My shocks were bad but i replaced them about 3 months ago and the vibration went away like 20 percent
then another 10 percent with the new T case bearings
So heres my journey of replacing slowly all the components
%15 shocks
%10 T-case bearings
%15 tie rods, trac bar, balljoints
and heres the finale,
%60 FRONT driveshaft
I would say that about SIXTY percent of the vibration was the front driveshaft, maybe even more like 70 to 80 percent
but its hard to tell cause i replaced balanced and aligned all those things up the ying yang before i got to the DS
I totally thought that it didnt rotate while it was in 2 wheel drive
but I heard somewhere that it did, took the front drive shaft off and my truck feels better than a yukon

heres my next problem, is it the driveshaft or U joint thats not true, or could it possibly be my front differential? that would be more of a grinding rather than a high speed rattle wouldnt it?
Im no mechanic but what do you guys think?

Tire vibrations due to imbalance are speed related, typically the will be fine until you're above the 45 mph plus range. They will vibrate for about a 10 mph range then the vibration will go away till you double the speed.
A bad tire, seperated belt etc, is a slightly different situation but should be detected while balancing.
Drive train vibrations typically just get worse as speed increases. A drive shaft vibration typically goes away when there is no load on it. Try getting the vehicle up to speed when the vibrtion is it's worse and put the car in nuetral, if the vibration goes away it's a good sign of drive shaft problems. If it does not go away then it's probably in the axles/diffs.
