Will a cracked fly wheel cause a vibration at 55 only? Going to change it as soon as it comes in. I have a clicking in the left front wheel. Checked the wheel bearing and everything else but can't find it. Just does it turning right or left at slow speed

A worn ball joint sometimes produces those sort of symptoms. I would take closer look at the ball joints, steering and height of front end at both wheels.

The clicking on turning could also be a front ujoint.

Now that I think of it, it was a while ago a tire/wheel shop was unable to perform an alignment because of a worn/broken u-joint. They're not all that difficult to replace, easier to replace if you have a large vice and a C-clamp type press. Or you take part of the axle and u-joint to a shop with a press.

He's right about the u-joints. I forgot to include the wheel u-joints, wear out or become damaged causing those kind of symptoms.

Mine had play in it, jacking up the front end you could move it up and down. I simply removed the old and installed a new one.

The front U-joints are suppose to be tight and can have an effect on the steering.
