Whoa, a little punctuation goes a long way I just did a quick search for Vinyl Floor on this site and came up with a number of threads; here is one:

Quadratec has vinyl floor kits for 84-96. Not sure what changed if anything on the floor of the XJ in '97, but I can't imagine much changed to where this kit wouldn't work. Wiser (and older) members can correct me. Here is a link:

Default Not sure if 96/84 flooring will work

I read in one the threads that the 84/96 flooring won't work in the 97/01 xjs due to differences in the floor pan design. I have no confirmation for this but I am hesitant to spend 300 dollars on something that won't work. Hopefully someone on here can confirm if this is the case. I !ooked through most of the threads but everything I found was either discontinued or for the 96 / 84 so I made this post.

Try and look for police parts for jeep cherokees, The police versions had vinyl flooring and may help you in your search. And you would be correct about flooring styles i tried and just wouldnt fit in certain areas and was pressed differently.

Default Modifying carpet

Do you think it would be possible to modify the 84\96 carpet to work or would it be to short? Could you find some bulk vinyl flooring and use the old carpet as a template to cut piece to fit the jeep or does it need to be molded?
