I had similar on the driver's side. One of the windows wouldn't roll down at times. The solder that Jeep used must be garbage.

Default Solved the 19 volt problem


On both my son’s 1999 XJ and my 2000 XJ all kinds of “intermittent” electrical problems were popping up. They all seemed ground related but not related to each other. We final figured out that the ECM (mounted to the fender by the air filter box) was grounded by one of the mounting screws and that screw had come loose. Tightened the mounting screw and fixed all the electrical problems just like that.

That's not where the ECM grounds. See my sig, #1, for a link to the ground locations.

That’s fine but the ECM does not work properly if the mounting screws are loose.
