Do not waste your money save up and get some hella lights.
I bought 2 sets and they are the worst lights I ever bought they have no power and dont throw the light good at all i even went as far as putting 100w bulbs in and did not notice much differance. My 2 hella 500FF 50W lights light up the road more then 4 of the baja.
If you want them let me will sell cheap

get 12 gauge wire and a 30 amp relay. to turn on a relay it usually takes less then one amp so any switch is fine. then wire your switch into the fuse box by your brake pedal. put ur hot wire in an "accessory outlet" and then you will have a direct line from your battery to the relay, the switch just turns the relay on and off. if you need i'll pm you a write up and a drawing haha

i installed mine with the bumper on and it was rather simple, just upgrade the bolt and locking washer because they suck! Lights came loose after one 2 months, removed the washer and it was flat just tryin to save you some time

I have those lights on the bumper of my laredo. it came with factory lights on the bumper and they quit working, so I went to walmart and got the baja lights to replace them. I just wired mine into the factory wire harness and I'm using the factory switch on the dash. They work great for the price. I've had them for 2 yrs and havent had to replace a bulb or anything yet. I'll try to find a pic and post it

I cheap source of nice relays are 1992 ish Pontiac Bonnevilles at the boneyard. Remove the long plastic cover on the firewall by the cowling and there are groups of nice relays there. At the local pick-n-pull they charge 50 cents per relay so I grab the whole assembly with the sockets and mounting bar and try to cut the wires as long as I can on them. Best 10 bux I spent in a while!
Can also use pre 1991 Dodge Caravan relays too. I grabbed 2 Caravans worth once with the sockets and harness for cheap. Have used about 5 already for various lighting systems on my XJs.

WARNING!
Do Not use the fuse holder that comes with it. I got done wiring mine up today and turned them on, about 3 minutes later I looked in my jeep and it was full of smoke. The Fuse holder had melted. I went down to the hardware store and got "Bussman ATC Blade Fuse Holder 30a #12 Leads Reorder # BP/HHD" Everything seems to be fine now..
Here is what I got:

i'm running the factory fuse plug that came with the kit just like that for both sets of my hellas and i've never had an issue... are you sure you had a decent ground????
also will running relays decrease battery draw..... on my other rig i got some more lights but no relays and they really drag down my battery gage and with those caravan or bonneville relays are they a 2 prong setup or a multi-prong setup that you have to play pick in poke with till you find a solid through connection?
