Baja lights are he greatest lights ever. I have 4 on a 30 amp circuit. granted the only thing stock on them is the glass cover and plastic housing. they are brighter that my 4 overhad lights. I agree that I like my over head lights too more than the bajas, but I get to run the bajas 50X more and they are great for lighting within 50 yards and my overhead are for 50+ yards, its teamwork. yes... I have a 170 amp alternator. but seriously bajas are the most reliable lights ever. I have 6 (2 back up too)and not a single complaint. if you can wire them up properly that is

Saw these at Walmart too. Inexpensive excuse to do some aftermarket work on the Jeep....so far I have just been doing the maintenece thing, gets boring after a while.

ive got the rugged ridge 3 inch tube bumper on the front and I was wondering how I should go about mounting the bajas to them??? I know rugged ridge makes light mounts for there bumpers but $15 a piece is kinda steep when you could probally make some...any ideas?

Not talking about mant on the lights or anything. Since I got my jeep the only thing I have really gotten to do is maint type stuff aside from taking off my fender flares.

I was just saying the lights are an inexpensive excuse to do something different for a change. lol

could mount upside down on your upper tube. drill a hole all the way through and replace stock bold with a 3 1/4" bolt and match up the size of bolt head so it locks in on the mount so it wont spin. you shoul seal the holes so no water gets inside and rusts it.if you mount like that there will be a nut on top of te tube. or you could mount rite side up on lower tube the same way

K.. If you get the ATC fuse holder I listed it will have wires on each side of the fuse for you to splice into. First of all, you should put your fuse as close to the start of the + wire as possible, before the switch. Get your ATC fuse holder w/fuse in it (I used 25A, but I think thats a little high) and splice one side of it into your positive wire. The splice should be soldered, if you know how to. Wrap in electrical tape. Do the same to the other side of the fuse, and thats it, you now have a fuse inline with your lights so you dont burn your jeep down...
Here is a crappy MS Paint pic:

Hope that helped,
Dylan

Im running 30 amp but with 10 gauge wire. thats way too much juice for the stock wire. its tiny wiring. Bajas do have a pattern especially if you increase the wiring and amperage potential. the 4 on my bumperlight up everything within 50 yards. atleast 5 times brighter than my brights

Do you run the baja lights with no relays?
