Default Water seaping in through driver side door

I have 1999 Cherokee Sport 4.0 and water seeps in from the driver side door. Has anyone else had this problem? Any solutions to fix this? Also, does anyone know where the crank shaft sensor is located?

It depends on where it is leaking it could be as simple as the door seal is bad. lose door hinge. Like I said depends where the water the water is coming in at.
The cps is on the drivers side rear of the engine at about 11 0'clock.

The problem is, I am unsure of where the leak is coming from. The floor near the pedals are always wet when it rains but I am not able to backtrack to where it's coming from.

I'm missing a grommet in my firewall in the upper right corner (when standing in front of car with hood open), and I think that's where some of my water is coming from. Also check the door seal at top and front.

I had this problem too. I could not find the source of the leak until I decided to break out the hose on a nice summer day. It wound up being that the previous owner stripped out the screws that hold the grating or plastic screen between the windshield and the hood. I went to the next size up screw and put some black silicone on the threads. I have not had a leak since.

Mine was coming from the w/s as well. PO had it replaced and i guess whoever did it didnt do a very good job of sealing it. Its been raining two days straight here so it finnaly prompted me to take it in the shop and seal it up.

BTW on the cps. Prepare yourself with some extensions and a wobble. You will need them.
