Water under hood
Hey guys im new here so dont shoot me if I sound like a moron.
96 XJ
Looks like the water pump or something sprung a leak and spread water all over the Alt and fuse block .. the Alt was not turning at all and i burnt the belt right off her .. also the middle section of the fuse block ( the one under the hood) looks like water or somthing arc across a few of the fuse and cause the headlights to come on( i pulled the fuse and they went out )
So I change the Alt and Replace the belt and she started up .. I started thinking afterwards it might have been the the water pump that cause the fuse box mishap and the Alt to lock up
Do not drive her that much .. In fact i did not drive her since that day , now she wont start again
What do you guys think does that sound crazy and/or have you ever hear of anything like this before.
thanks for your time
