Waterpump pulley play
I have an 01 with the 4.0. When I have driven it enough to warm up completely I can smell antifreeze after turning off and walking to the front. I have had the jeep for 3000 miles and the antifreeze level in the overflow container has remained right on the full mark. None of the hoses are leaking and I don't see anything underneath. Only thing I notice is that there is leaking at the front of the oilpan on front drivers side. Not enough to even leak in the garage. Other thing is that I can move the waterpump pulley front to back. Finally a question! Is that normal to have play in the pulley? I was thinking that maybe I have a very small leak in that area allowing antifreeze to slowly leak causing the smell.
Thanks for any info.
