Weathertech 442661 floor mats in a pre-97 XJ?
Has anyone used weathertech 442661 (or 442662 for that matter) in a pre 1997 XJ? I am wondering what the floor / interior panel differences is that they only list it for 1997+ XJs. I was looking at this thread's pics https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/rub...4/#post1408442 and I can't seem to tell much a difference in the floor shape from my 87. It seems that other brands span the two body styles with one part number, so I was wondering if anyone knows what the difference in the weathertech mats might be.
Other brands I've looked at are rugged ridge and Husky, but it seems the weathertech has the best fitment according to reviews here and there.

The quadratec floor mats like them are listen 84-01 so the weather tech ones should work.See http://www.quadratec.com/products/14254_7093.htm

I ended up getting the "Jeep" quadratec mats. They're decent. The drivers side moves a little bit, but not enough to bother me. I'm going to make a bracket to keep it in place someday.

That's my concern..... the mat moving around. The little hook on my '99 won't hold mine in place anymore. I have a set of Husky liners and have worn the driver side thin so now I need something new. The Husky liners never were a very good design (slippery under foot) but does fit the shape pretty well. They are 15 years old. They feel stiff and look worn. Maybe I can repair the hook and somehow attach the Quadratec mat to it.
