Weird noise
Hi there,
I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee with an annoying problem. Starting up the vehicle it sounds fine but after driving for about 5-10 minutes it gets a very loud whistling noise coming from the engine bay. The noise goes away when pressing the accelerator and gets louder as I take my foot off the gas. I’ve pin pointed the noise to somewhere near the back of the engine or air intake manifold. I’ve replaced hoses(thinking vacuum leak, sprayed carb fluid and switch throttle bodies with an old one lying around. None of those helped. Any ideas for this problem would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
