What do you mean 'put Lucas' in it? Like the stop slip? The multi vehicle atf? Because honestly, none of it's worth a hoot for the aw4, if it worked for you great but it's an unnecessary expense, because dex/merc is what it uses...

Also, salad knows a good bit, if he asks why you put that in there, There's a reason...

well I guess in my 10 years of jeep ownership and Lucas use I should just stop because one person thinks they know it all. I didn't know they owned Lucas brand products and kept them in business for so long.

Phillip Morris has been selling cigarettes for a century. Doesn't mean they are healthy.

Just because you served doesn't give you special reason to be a dick, much or to justify what your using in your aw4.

Like I said, if several people are asking why your using it vs dex 3, maybe we should ask why.

So, why is dex 3 better then Lucas, other then price?

I used Lucas because it was slipping in and out of gears like I stated in the earlier posts. My ignorance to transmissions thought if Lucas says it stops slips and prolongs transmission life then it would work for mine. As I also stated I've been using it in all 5 of my jeeps over the last ten years and it has never made anything worse.

Are you talking about the Lucas stop slip, the really thick stuff? Or the Lucas multi vehicle atf

Edit: what year Cherokee is this? Can the tps be adjusted?

I used both red molasses and the atf. Then two regular atf. Its a 96. I've always had remix jeeps and one grand wagoneer. I think I asked about the adjustment of the tps and got a no it can't response.
