If I remember correctly, if you have the rounded connector on the vehicle the 6921 part will be correct for you. I ended up with it erroneously once, before finding out I have the rectangular connector.

Well, color me confused because I have the oval connecter with round pins. From what I understand and have read, this connecter is OBDI. This would explain why my OBDII scan tool is not connecting with my Jeep.... Though I have a DLC in my driverside footwell near my hood release! I thought only the OBDII connections were there and OBDI were in the engine bay?
Thats confused some inspections, too. Theyll see the DLC under the dash and connect thier scanner to it, but fail it because it wont link up to read codes, not knowing that DLC is just a dummy. The OBD1 connector is under hood. IIRC, its near the PCM?
At any rate, I have the oval connecter with the round pins so I will order that CPS. There seems to be a lot of misinformation surrounding CPS part numbers and such though.
Because Chrysler kept changing one part # for another. Ive gone thru 3-4 part #s before i find one that actually comes up with anything. Frustrating. Had they used the same numbering system as Ford i believe it would have been much easier to find the parts we need. Oh well.
