You mean you don't even have a Haynes manual there at the rodeo. It has the head torque specs.

I Know you said this is the second time you've done this.. so is this the second time you're reusing your old head bolts? Head bolts should only be reused one time.. just a fiyi. Follow these instructions on this page.

Me and my buddy pulled his 4.0 head off in 45 mins flat this weekend. It's all self explanatory, really. As long as you have a deep well 12pt 13mm.

No I'm not reusing old bolts . I'm getting new ones but need the amount of torque and order and all thay

After pulling gasket doesn't look bad . How to check your head for cracks?

Take it to a machine shop and have them pressure test it.

While the head is off also check the lifters. And the rod and main bearings if you feel like pulling the oil pan.

The lifters are on the camshaft, Sounds like you need a repair manual.
