Default what is this?

So, I just bought this 96 XJ Classic the other day and it had major death wobble. I knew the shocks needed replaced, but today while I was under it doing my inspection I found what you see circled here below. Can someone tell me what this is that needs replaced. I looked for a control arm, but it doesnt come with this attachment that is broken. Thanks for the help!

So, If I buy a new sway bar will it come with this end link, or will I have to buy that separate?

wow. If you plan on lifting your jeep then now would be a good time to get some swap bar disconnects.

The endlink is welded on so it will come with it.

Killer I would junkyard those parts and don't waste a bunch on a new swaybar and the associated hardware for it like end links and bushings.

LOL, it scared the crap out of me when driving it home the other night. I was cruising down the highway and hit a bump, and thought the wheels were going to come off!

If it wasnt a DD that I had to drive on the highway every day I would do it.

Can I pull a sway bar off of any 4x4 XJ and it will fit on this?

i would look at getting "sway bar disconects" if you ever plan on wheeling the jeep if not a simple JY replacment would work. dont ditch them on a stock set up the stock spring rate is way to soft and would be very uncomforatble in turns! I dont have my sway bars, but I also have RE5.5" coils which are much stiffer than the stockers

Stick with 92-96 to be safe they are all about the same but the diameter changed with the different years.

They are welded on? Did they start doing that in '96?
