theres supposed to be a hose that runs from the valve cover to the one

1 is blank,the other one has a line that goes from the valve cover to the air box

Is this a Renix? My HO doesnt have it but my dads Renix does. The hose that goes from the airbox to the valve cover goes there, However because its pretty old yours has probably been replaced with just hose all the way through. Post a pic of your whole engine bay and I will tell you.

there is a hose going from the air box to the valve cover, ill go take a picture.

and it is a renix engine, its an 89

if that big hose is the line from the valve cover to the box you should be fine,just make sure none of the other lines are cracked or off,those are all the vacume lines for the emmisions stuff

alright great, thanks! also, my valve cover looks like its leaking oil a little too much how does it look to you guys?

The valve cover is pretty easy to do, just watch out for the cheapo plastic connectors around the throttle cables. They tend to break easily. DAMHIK.

The valve covers can get really bad leakwise. My daughter's 01 was leaking a quart a day to the point that I thought it was the rear main seal. Turned out to be just the valve cover gasket.

its not leaking just a constant oil change thats how i think of it
