Was suppose to be a thumbs up on the end there haha.
I use US made TXL on everything interior and exterior. Non-insulated butt connectors, double shrink wrapped(haven't seen the need for solder yet, but I'm more than capable of doing it, I've soldered a while pdc up before), and to finish off I use expandable wire loom, has better ratings than plastic split loom, and is cheaper!

I will keep that in mind about expandable looms.
As for soldered connections, could be better off not doing it. There is a debate regarding it, something about the plug of solder making it easier for wire to break at plugs edge, also the flux being corrosive to the wires.
The issue I have is salt-air intrusion.
