That certainly is not ideal. But if it's not knocking, it can last a long time like that.

Look under the oil fill cap while it's doing that and see if you see oil flowing around up there.

Quit worrying, your fine. There are plenty of 4.0s that are running fine with much less pressure. I only have 4psi.

It's fine, just run it. You're even "within FSM spec"

Don't forget a good filter
