What did they do?
Hi 9 months ago my 94 cherokee was bucking and rpms would fluctuate when idle. Took to mechanic and they replaced crankshaft sensor, ignition coil and PCM. But since mine is a 5 speed they could not find a manual PCM so they put in a PCM for automatic and spliced the purple and white wire from PCM to the map sensor. ran great the 9 months now throwing a 24 code. Replaced TPS and its still doing the bucking and rpm dance and still throwing 24 code. It has to be one of these 3 things (ing coil, crankshaft sensor or PCM). How can I check whats wrong?...Should I also replace MAP sensor? Should I just keep wiring the same and get a auto PCM or take the spliced wire out and get a manual PCM. Any help I thank you.
