I wish ct still showed the percentages of gases in the exhaust. Do they just assume it’s running fine because the OBD is not seeing any problems? I didn’t watch to see if he tested the exhaust or not. They always would my van but that was a 94 and OBD1.

On a similar note, I changed my oxygen sensors after the sensor in the catalyst got mangled by the driveshaft, and subsequently the check engine light came on and the Jeep developed high idle RPMs. So I decided to change both oxygen sensors. I went from Denso to NTK sensors. I decided against resetting the computer. So after the first highway ride of about 1 hour, the idle RPMs settled back to just under 1000, like it should be. But then randomly, on start up it would go high again, ranging from 1250 to 1750 rpms at idle. Idle RPMs would change from trip to trip. Long story short, it took the computer about 2 months to get the correct idle RPMs. Now it idles under 1000 all the time. I am hoping it lasts.
