What to do with Logo when painting?

Emblems are still available from the dealership.. Rockauto has them as well.. Don't be cheap... take them off, paint the vehicle and reapply the new ones...
Heat gun or hairdryer will do the trick.. I use a plastic body filler spreader to scrape them off {after heating them}followed by some adhesive remover for the residue
Most all mopar emblems of that era will come off the same way.. Durango, sebring, etc...
The emblems closely resemble a foam material under the hard silver outer layer and you run the risk of solvents expanding the emblems after taping them off and prepping around them.. Not to mention the paint build up isn't as pretty as you'd hope..
