What do you think is the best 3-3.5" (under $600) lift kit for moderate off road use?

Some say yes some say no...I personally think anything over 2" should get at least new LCA's...RC now sells a 3" kit with new LCA option..Rusty's will make fixed LCA's for a 3" lift as well.

Wow, I just noticed that Rough Country has a series II 3" lift that includes:
3" lifted coil springs, lower control arms, and sway-bar drop brackets.
(4) Nitro 9000 series shocks
And rear springs for $610.
This seems like a pretty good deal.
Do you think?
Sorry if my questions seem redundant or stupid (for lack of a better word) but this is a big decision for me as I am a poor student lol.

no you really dont need LCA's with a 3" lift...but anything above 3" then probably yeah...
and rough country has my vote...
- very affordable
- decent product
- great customer service
- no horror stories (except of the ride quality)
only thing about them is i hear the shocks rust out around a year down the road...but you could just swap the shocks and youll be ok...
also rustys coils and BDS coils are the same...
dont go with rustys trac bar though...

rusty's steering is atrocious. i paid quite a bit for my RE kit, but i've been pleased, and they do include shocks. flex's nicely. with the rustys kit youd be ok with stock lca's, and their kits do come with shocks. dont do AAL though.
if your on a real budget do your lift yourself. just get some 3" coils for the front, bastard pack with s10 leaves in the back, get some shocks, relocate the front hardlines, extend the rear line, make some homemade dicso's, bumpstop the front and rear, and depending on your vibes shim the rear axle, if the vibes get really bad get an SYE. i know people that ran 3" lifts for a long time with stock tracabrs, i ran my 3.5" on a stock tb for like 6 months and was fine.
