Hello, I am new to the forums jeep forums I have a 2001 Jeep cherokee XJ Limited Classic and the 2 codes that it is blinking red are PO1686 and PO1698 and I am not sure what they mean. But also The dot that is blinking red one say CAT and the other says 025 I am confused cause the PO1686 and PO1698 I can find but I cant find the CAT or 025 codes in anywhere or any book. I also know that PO1698 says No CCD/J1850 messages recieved from the electronic transmission control module (EATX) or the Aisin transmission controller. It also says No CCD messages recieved from Bus communication failure to PCM. A Companion DTC was set in both the ECM and PCM.. Not sure what that means can anyone please eplain it in a form i can understand maybe. and the PO1686 says No SKIM BUS No CCD/J1850 messages recieved from the smart key immobilizer messages recieved module (SKIM). What needs to be done with these codes so I can get it smogged. Please let me know if theres anyone that can help me i would be so grateful.
