Default What gear ratio & rear locker

I'm now running 33s and want to change the gear ratio front and rear and add a rear locker. It's a DD, 94 XJ ,4.0,auto trani. Any suggestions on ratio and locker type? Thanks

4.56's

I found these work best for auto xj's on 33's


Oh, and the lunchbox lockers work pretty good

4.56 and a selectable locker i like ox because they have really though carriers

Mathematically, 4.14:1 gets u back to stock equivalent so 4.10s should do it. I'm partial to the PowerTrax No-Slip locker (lunchbox type), had 4 of them (in DDs) over the years including one currently in the XJ. Easy 2 hour install, no ring/pinion set-up.

True, I just assumed he wanted something cheap,

But arb and ox are great choices if you want to spend a little more
