I just ordered a set of Autopals for my camo Comanche after having them on my white one for years.
It's the deal of the century as far as e-codes.
I used to work in a foreign parts and accessory store. I've had Hella, Cibie, Marchal etc. Not worth the extra money over Autopal.

I see you guys like them, but I was curious what bulb you ordered. Says 60/55w comes with it, I am leaning towards the 100/55w with my order. Upgrade harness on its way soon.

All this talk of what housing and bulbs and what not, it's really making me rethink my Christmas list. I've already got the harness, I'm thinking autopals and the white 100/90w or those leds I've seen floating around here.

So the 100/55 bulbs will have a very bright high beam and a normal low beam, like what is currently in the Jeep? It is important to me to maintain a normal low beam (nothing irritatingly bright for other traffic) as I do a lot of city driving.

I can't say I understand wanting 90W low beams. Even though the E-code housings have a decent cutoff, that's still awful bright and will be blinding to other drivers when you're on an incline or coming over a hill. I can't think of many situations where I would need 90W low beams where I wouldn't just be able to hit my high beams instead.

However, while both of those LED brands are better than H4s, I didn't really feel either of those provided enough of a bump in performance to justify the extra cost. The H4 conversion with E-code housings gives much better bang for the buck for 1/3 of the cost of the Truck Lites and 1/10 of the cost of the JW Speakers.
Regarding Autopals, I've seen them, and they look fine. I went with the more expensive Hellas because I had read several posts where the reflective coatings inside the Autopals degraded, especially when they got wet. Lots of people have used them with no problem at all, though, so they seem to be a great budget option.
