Default What is this line

Poking around and saw I had a crack in a vacuum line. It's the rear most vac line on the intake manifold. Hoping this could be the cause of my intermittent cruise issue. What is it called and what is it's purpose. I know it runs back I the vacuum tank behind the front bumper.

Go to the link below and view the vacuum schematic in post #51. It shows the check valve (in your pic) and the rest of the vacuum tubes in the system.

The photos are of a '99, so the manifold check valve is in a different spot.

If you hve two vacuum lines at the reservoir there's a pic of that as well. The schematic doesn't show multiple vacuum tubes to the reservoir.

Cool thanks. I guys all I really need to find is the rubber hose. I believe the check valve works fine.

Most auto parts stores have rubber vacuum hose. Are you saying you're incapable of looking for some hose.

No. Just that is all I think I'll need to fix it. I see the typo now. All I have is my phone and it does weird auto correct sometimes. I don't always catch it obviously.
