Question What should I get??

My uncle got me $1000 in gift cards to go to Kragen and get whatever I'd like. I plan on doing a full tune up - plugs, wires, dizzy cap, rotor, all fluids, all filters etc, but what other parts/tools for the xj should I pick up while im there?

Haha. The only reason he gave me it is because he basically lit half my garage on fire with a cigarette, charred most of my tools! Hahah.

But really, what should I pick up.. it's $1000 bucks and I have no idea what to get.

Tune up is the best place to start. I would then sit down and go over the thing with a fine tooth comb to see if there is anything else in need of attention. May want to do a fluid change in the front and rear as well as the tranny. Think of those little annoying things that can be replaced.

Yea, that's what I'll start with.. but even after the full tune up I'll have about $800 or so left. What to do with that?

I would get a floor jack, big jack stands, a creeper, maybe an air compressor with tools. A nice multimeter and like previously stated go over your rig real good.
