Default What size tires?

Hi all,
I have a99 xj and was wondering what size tires I should put on it. I have a 3" rough country lift to put on it. I was gonna go with 31x10.5 but thought that may be a little too much. I dont want to cause a problem with my transmission and I don't want to have to change gears. This will be my daily driver for a while. What are yalls thoughts?

are your fenders trimmed? if they are it might look a lil' funny with 30's but if you have the feder flares on 30's would look just fine

Hi and welcome to CF from Tj...That size tire is perfect for the lift you have and should be fine as a DD...Tj

Im running a 3 inch lift with 31x10.5 R15s and it does just fine not to mention it is my daily driver and I put roughly 45 miles on it a day. The only problem I've ever had with the setup was the tires would rub when I went down my driveway. I just heated up my razor knife and trimmed a little of the inner part of the flares. The problem hasn't happened since. My gas mileage is about 15 city so it hasn't dropped much. I don't really notice any gearing issues so im sure its fine.

Id like to see that too. It would be great to keep the front end stock.
