I have an opportunity to buy some 15x10 mickey Thompson classic 2 wheels that came off a Wrangled that are just like brand new for about 300 dollars. I have been thinking about putting a 3" lift on my 89 Cherokee, what would be a good tire size with this lift and wheel?

 

Depends on the angle of the dangle.

 

Haha, was thinking maybe like 31x10.5, but want to make sure they will fit without rubbing

 

You may have to do a little cutting if you go with a 3" lift. You may get some rubbing at a full flex. I have a 3" lift and 30x9.50 15 and now rub at full flex. I also want to move up to 31x10.50-15 but I don't want to cut at least not right now. If anyone has a different opinion please say it I would like to know if I am wrong.

 

Im not really going to do alot of hardcore wheeling with this, just want it to have a nice appearance and stance. I figured would probably have issues with wheels turned all the way or the suspension completely compressed, just want to make sure would do ok under normal driving
